How to upload Suno songs to Spotify and Apple Music
You cannot upload a song to Spotify yourself — it has to come through a distributor. Here is how to release a song you made with Suno on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TikTok and other stores, and what to check first so it is not taken down later.
1. Check that you may release the song commercially
Suno’s terms decide who may use a song commercially. Songs made on a paid Suno plan can be released commercially by the subscriber; songs made on the free plan are for non-commercial use. Suno’s terms have changed several times, so read the version that applied when you made the song before you release it.
2. Prepare the audio and the cover
- Export the best quality Suno offers and save the final master as WAV (44.1 or 48 kHz, 16 or 24-bit, stereo).
- Listen to the whole track for glitches, cut-off endings and lyric errors — stores reject broken audio.
- Make a square cover of 3000 × 3000 pixels without logos of stores, other artists’ names or blurry text.
3. Fill in the credits honestly
List the real people who wrote the lyrics and made the song as writers — AI tools are not listed as songwriters. If an AI tool wrote the lyrics, say so in the AI disclosure.
4. Distribute it
Upload the WAV, the cover and the credits to Sonarvelle, mark how AI was used, and choose a release date. After review, the song is delivered to Spotify, Apple Music and 100+ stores. Most stores publish on the date you chose.
Step by step
- Check your rights — Make sure your Suno plan allows commercial release of the song.
- Export as WAV — Save the final master as a 44.1 or 48 kHz stereo WAV.
- Make the cover — A clean 3000 × 3000 square image.
- Upload and disclose — Upload to Sonarvelle and say how AI was used.
- Go live — After review the song goes to Spotify, Apple Music and 100+ stores.
Questions
Can I put a free-plan Suno song on Spotify?
Songs made on Suno’s free plan are for non-commercial use, so they should not be released on stores. Make the song on a paid plan if you want to release it.
Will Spotify remove my Suno song?
Not for being made with AI. Stores remove songs that impersonate real artists, are spam or break their content rules — so disclose AI use honestly and avoid copies of existing songs.
How long until my Suno song is on Spotify?
Our review usually takes 1–3 working days, and most stores publish on your chosen release date. Choose a date at least a week ahead.
